Dr. Kerry Cline
Dr. Kerry Cline is a veterinarian and long-time animal lover whose passion in life has always been animals. She started working with her father and observing surgeries at the age of eight and as a child, had numerous pets including fish, exotic birds, rabbits, cats, and dogs. Knowing early on in her life that she wanted to become a veterinarian, she continued to nurture her love of animals as a teenager, including starting a Santa Paws food drive while still in high school that consistently collected several tons of pet food for area shelters at Christmas.
After Graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2001 from the University of New Mexico (where she also played soccer on scholarship) Dr. Kerry obtained a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Washington State University, where she was the recipient of the Marvin Hales scholarship for having outstanding compassion and clinical skills. After receiving her veterinary degree in 2005, she spent four years working with board certified veterinary surgeons and practitioners in the Santa Barbara, California area. In 2009, she went to Albuquerque to work side-by-side with her father, as the father/daughter team opened ABQ PetCare as Albuquerque's first family practice for family pets. After meeting her husband in 2010, Conroe was soon to be home. Three months after her son was born, Dr. Kerry's PetVet was opened bringing family care to your pets. Dr. Kerry's special veterinary interests include pet dentistry, geriatric care, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery as well as animal behavior issues. Her love and compassion for animals defines her human-animal bond....and she is the proud "mom" to Chihuahua Pablo and kitty K.P.
A frequent contributor to numerous pet health publications including High Desert Dog and PetroGlyphs, Dr. Kerry has appeared on numerous talk shows to discuss timely issues in pet care and pet health. She has served as the host of the popular radio show, "Pet Talk With Dr. Kerry" on 770 KKOB-AM, and continues to be called on by the media for her expertise in a wide variety of pet care issues, including pet dental health and pet geriatric care.
